A man has been jailed after being arrested in Newmarket for drug offences.
Aldo Dehari, of Snakes Lane, Woodford Green, was arrested by Suffolk Police's Sentinel West team while he was driving a car on September 26.
The 35-year-old was charged with being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and remanded in custody by Ipswich Magistrates on September 27.
Dehari appeared at Ipswich Crown Court on Friday and was sentenced to three years after admitting being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
The investigation was led by officers from the Sentinel West team. Sgt George Laflin said: “We are pleased that Dehari has been jailed which means he will be off our streets.
"This result highlights that robust action will be taken against those who are identified distributing drugs, which impact our local communities.
"I am proud of the team who worked hard to obtain the evidence required to secure a conviction.”
