A man from Hampshire has been found guilty of assaulting a woman occasioning actual bodily harm.
Before Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday was Joshua Carter, 40, of Fleet, who had denied the offence but was convicted by a jury after a trial.
However, the defendant was found not guilty of assault by penetration of the woman.
The court heard Carter is now in a settled relationship with another woman.
He will be sentenced on January 24.
