The region's largest specialist insolvency team recently welcomed the addition of a new solicitor to its team.
Ellisons Solicitors announced the qualification of Cerys Gunn as a solicitor in its growing insolvency and debt recovery team.
She joined the firm in August 2021 and became a trainee solicitor in September 2022.
Ms Gunn spent a year with the team during her training contract.
Now fully qualified, she will be based at the Ipswich office and will focus exclusively on insolvency and debt recovery matters.
She said: "I'm thrilled to have qualified into such a supportive and experienced team at Ellisons.
"The variety and complexity of work in the Insolvency team make this an exciting area of law, and I look forward to helping our clients navigate difficult situations with clarity and confidence.”
Her appointment brings the total number of fee earners in the team to seven.
Scott Porter, partner and head of the insolvency team, said: "Cerys' journey to a qualified solicitor is a testament to her hard work and determination.
"Her qualification strengthens our ability to deliver the high-quality, resource-intensive advice that businesses and individuals need during challenging times."
