Almost 300 businesses gathered at London Stansted hoping to secure contracts linked to the airport's £1.1 billion transformation project.
The 23rd annual 'Meet the Buyers' event, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, saw businesses from across the region pitching their products and services to 30 major buyers, including Fado, Galliford Try, Kier, Mace, LPL Construction, and London Stansted.
The event began with Mike Hardaker, chief airport asset and development officer, sharing updates on Stansted's transformation and encouraging businesses to get involved.
He said: "Over the last 23 years, Meet the Buyers has become a key event for local businesses.
"As the airport grows, we have big plans to improve our facilities, handle more passengers, and make the airport experience better for everyone."
Throughout the day, workshops and presentations took place.
It featured speakers like Iain McNab from Essex County Council, Julie Cuthbertson, director of strategic projects at Umi, and Mike Hagan and Tim Houghton from MAG London Stansted, who provided an update on the airport's transformation scheme.
