A new health club has officially opened its doors in Bury St Edmunds.
The new David Lloyd on the Marham Park estate welcomed its first customers from 6am on Tuesday, December 3.
It features a 100-plus station gym, heated indoor and outdoor pools with the David Lloyd Clubs’ Swim Stars programme for children, plus expert coaching for adults, aqua classes, and family swim time.
It also has match-quality tennis and padel courts as well as badminton, pickleball and the exclusive David Lloyd Clubs Tennis Stars junior programme for children.
Fitness classes, children's soft play and a spa retreat can also be found at the site.
On Friday, founder members and local VIPs, visited for an exclusive look around the new facility - with town mayor Diane Hind cutting the ribbon.
David Lloyd Bury St Edmunds’ general manager Kristen Westwood said: “The support has been fantastic and it’s great to see so many members of the local community embrace the new club and join us here today.
"It’s an honour to be general manager and I can’t wait to see our community grow when we officially open our doors on Tuesday 3rd December."
