A big crowd enjoyed the annual Christmas lights switch-on in Lowestoft.
The town centre dazzled with festive spirit on Saturday, November 30, as people gathered for the event.
Families enjoyed an afternoon packed with entertainment, capped off by the arrival of Father Christmas and a stunning lights display at 5pm.
The display includes a ‘Merry Christmas Lowestoft’ sign welcoming visitors to the town.
The event was organised by Lowestoft Vision, the town’s Business Improvement District organisation.
Performances on the main stage featured local acts as well as appearances from some of the Marina Theatre's cast of Beauty & the Beast and some of the cast from Cherie’s Christmas Cabaret from the Seagull Theatre.
The lights were switched on by town mayor, Councillor Nasima Begum, and Father Christmas.
Lowestoft Town Council organised stalls and entertainment as part of a Christmas Market at the Triangle Market.
Children’s activities and an interactive nativity were held at the United Reform Church.
