A man was taken to a hospital after a crash between a car and a motorcycle outside a Suffolk retail park.

Emergency services were called at around 4.08pm on Monday to Easlea Road near Moreton Hall industrial estate in Bury St Edmunds.

On arrival, police found that the motorcyclist had sustained an injury to the leg and was taken to hospital by a member of their family.

The road was partially blocked following the crash but was later cleared at around 6pm.

Officers say the extent of the injuries were not believed to be life threatening.

In a separate incident on Monday, a man was taken to hospital with a broken ankle after a crash between a car and a motorcycle.

Emergency services were called to Westgate Street in Bury St Edmunds at around 1.05pm. 

Officers say the collision occurred at the junction with Bridewell Lane.

A spokesman said the motorcyclist was injured following the incident and was taken to hospital by an ambulance.
