Ipswich Town fell to a 1-0 defeat in the latest East Anglian derby against Norwich City. Alex Jones provides his player ratings.

Vaclav Hladky

Didn't have a great deal to do in terms of actual saves, but he certainly did look shaky in possession. Some uncomfortable moments playing out from the back that they weren't made to pay for. No real chance of keeping out the winner. 6

Axel Tuanzebe

Had a tough game up against Borja Sainz, and he was lucky to avoid a red card when he clattered Josh Sargent on the edge of the area. A few good defensive moments and some passes that tried to get Town up the pitch. 5

Luke Woolfenden

Beaten far too easily by Josh Sargent on a couple of occasions. Tuanzebe and Sam Morsy were able to save him then - and the repercussions of both moments could've been worse. 5

Cameron Burgess

Headed a corner over the bar, which was one of Ipswich's only real opportunities in the first half. Looked good on the ball, completing more passes than anyone else on the pitch, and had a few important defensive moments that kept the visitors in the game. 7 (Man of the Match)

Leif Davis

Didn't create a great deal, and the deliveries that he got into the box were easily dealt with by Norwich's defence. Looked fine defensively but wasn't really tested. 5

Sam Morsy

Off it. Yes, he made the most tackles in the game, but was lucky to avoid his 14th booking of the season after tackling Sargent on the edge of the area. Couldn't dictate the play like he usually does - his passes just looked a bit skewed. A few good driving runs to get Town going late on. 5

Massimo Luongo

A couple of nice moments but not enough. Not strong enough out of possession and didn't do enough on the ball. Lacking that spark. 5

Omari Hutchinson

Nothing fell for him. Had a few good runs against Sam McCallum but didn't have too many of those opportunities. When he did get into positive areas, his deliveries were really hit and miss, not that there was a great deal for him to aim at in the box. Had a potential shout for a penalty but would've been harsh. 5

Conor Chaplin

Incredibly quiet. Curled one shot wide of the target just before he was subbed off. Didn't have any space to work or make a nuisance of himself. Touches don't always define a player's performance, but the fact he had just 30 across 74 minutes shows that he was really out of the game. 4

Nathan Broadhead

Similar to Chaplin. Had a couple of good moments down the left but lacked the killer touch to play someone into space. Had five dribbles but only one was successful. Subbed just after the hour-mark. 4

Kieffer Moore

Headed a looping effort into the gloves of Angus Gunn. That was really it. He was isolated and had no real service, but also looked worn out. Clearly still has some issues with his back as his movement was nowhere near as good as we've seen. 5

Sub: Harry Clarke (62')

Maybe should've started, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Added a bit of width and energy. 6

Sub: Jeremy Sarmiento (62')

Lively. Tried to run at Norwich's defence and create chances. Didn't quite have the space to work with and lacked the cutting edge to do something by himself. 6

Sub: Marcus Harness (74')

Missed a glorious chance towards the end of the match, although it looked like the ball was just taken off him before he could take aim. 6

Sub: Jack Taylor (75')

Added energy to the team but didn't have enough time to really impact it. 6

Sub: Ali Al-Hamadi (75')

Had a great chance at the end to win it, forcing a good save from Angus Gunn. Like Clarke, perhaps one who should've started in hindsight. 6
