Fast-rising MMA prospect Ollie Sarwa lifted his second professional belt with another first round stoppage at Cage Warriors Academy South East 34.
Sarwa bludgeoned foe Simone Valle to defeat with a barrage of punches and knees in the main event of the night, held at the new venue of the Civic Hall in Grays on Saturday.
With the win, he moved to 4-0 as a pro - all first round stoppages - and added the bantamweight strap to the featherweight title he claimed with a ten second KO last October.
In the co-main, popular BKK fighters talent Charlie Falco made it two wins in a row with a swift first round stoppage of Jakub Weidenthaler, in the other pro fight on the card.
Falco, now 6-3, collected the interim straw-weight title with the win. Hopefully that sets up a rematch of his absorbing clash with champ Giovanni Helias next - Falco having lost the belt to the fast Frenchman last October.
Elsewhere, fellow BKK Fighters product Ben Edwards (now 4-0) picked up the interim amateur welterweight title with a hard-fought points win over crafty veteran Rob Earls, while Cameron Stewart retained his lightweight crown with a last second stoppage of the long and rangy Kadre Dene.
Stewart (now 6-2) made the first defence of his title in dominating fashion, repeatedly taking Dene down and putting an exclamation point on things with a ground and pound stoppage at 2:59 of the third and final round.
In the other amateur title fights on the card, Jacob Gifford seized the interim featherweight strap with a first round armbar of Addis Drummond, Brennan Gait relieved Yassin El-Madhi of his bantamweight gold with a points win and Chloe Gowen claimed the straw-weight strap by outpointing Louise Bennett.
Earlier, on a portion of the card shown live in Norway, Gemma Auld moved to 6-0 by choking Camilla Bergstrom into submission in the third round of their flyweight title clash.
It was a good night all round for two local gyms. As well as the aforementioned Falco and Edwards, Colchester's BKK Fighters grabbed a further four wins.
One of those saw featherweight Mason Kinsella power to a third round stoppage of Aggelos Antoniou to extend his perfect record to 5-0. Flashy, skilled striker Kinsella looks better every time out and it surely can't be long before he fights for the title.
Gym-mate Jakub Kawiorski cruised to a composed, clinical points win over Luca Buiso in their featherweight scrap and bantamweight Ethan Lewis scored perhaps the submission of the night with a second round triangle triumph over Steve McMorris.
There was an impressive debut, too, for Karate Combat star Mitchell Thorpe, who showed his trademark movement and lightning quick blitz punching, plus a good range of wider MMA skills, in his points win over Jayden Wilkinson at lightweight.
The Combat Institute, the Colchester-based gym run by former Cage Warriors world middleweight champion James Webb, also had a good night, enjoying four victories.
Middleweight Fenton Brett landed the KO of the night as he connected with a huge head kick to ice George Ward in the first round of their clash, while featherweight Sam Hadley made a massively impressive debut to stop the very game Tommy Summers in the third round of their entertaining duel.
Fellow featherweight Will Matier locked in a trademark rear naked choke to tap Harris Kehlar in the second round of their fight, and super popular Aussie Christian Young enjoyed his first win since a horror leg break last year by submitting Dilawar Nasir via the same method in the first stanza of their flyweight dust-up.
The academy show, which highlights the best emerging MMA talent from across the UK and Europe, returns to Colchester's Charter Hall on July 13.
