Ipswich Town winger Wes Burns has bagged the Championship Goal of the Season award for his sensational trivela strike against Coventry City.
The Welshman's outrageous outside of the boot finish proved to be the winner at Portman Road back on December 2.
Currently working his way back from a hamstring injury, the 29-year-old was unable to collect his award at Grosvenor House, London as he's currently recovering from tonsillitis.
Blues boss Kieran McKenna, accepting the award on Burns' behalf, joked: "I think the lesson learnt is 'don't listen to your manager!' because I'd been telling him to go with his left foot! Fair play to him, it was a good finish."
Earlier in the evening, Blues left-back Leif Davis was named in the Championship Team of the Year.
