Young Ipswich Town duo Alex Graham and Nick Nkansa-Dwamena are heading to the United States to start college football scholarships in Florida and Oklahoma respectively.
Graham has been at the club since the age of eight, having moved to England from Cyprus the previous year. He became a full academy player in the summer of 2022.
The 18-year-old defender has mainly played for the under-18’s this season, but he suffered an injury in the young Blues’ FA Youth Cup defeat against Swansea City in December.
He is now off to the America this summer to start a scholarship in Florida.

Nkansa-Dwamena joined Town shortly before starting his two-year scholarship in the summer of 2022, having previously been with West Ham’s youth set-up.
The 18-year-old right-back has featured regularly for the under-18’s while also making appearances for the under-21’s side. He spent time on trial with QPR alongside Blues teammate Henry Curtis in March.
He will start his college football scholarship at the University of Tulsa this summer.
