Ipswich Town midfielder Jack Manly has signed a one-year permanent deal with Suffolk non-league side Leiston following from his release at Portman Road.
The 19-year-old spent most of the 2023/24 season with Darren Eadie and Chris Wigger's side, who finished 13th in the Southern League Premier Central.
Manly came through the academy ranks at Town, joining the club at the age of six. He made one senior appearance for the club, coming on as a substitute in a Papa John's Trophy tie at Crawley in November 2020.
Making his debut, he became the second-youngest player to make an appearance for the Blues at the age of 16 years and 22 days. The record is held by Connor Wickham, who was 11 days younger.
He signed his first professional contract at Town in October 2021 but was unable to make any further senior appearances despite featuring regularly for the under-21's side.
Elsewhere, former Town winger Ross Crane has left Leiston after one season, joining National League North side King's Lynn Town for the 2024/25 campaign.
