Ipswich Town U21s were held to a entertaining 3-3 draw with Burnley at Turf Moor yesterday, having let a two-goal lead slip.
The young Blues went into this game having beaten Birmingham City 6-1 at home on the opening day of the season last week.
Matty Roberts opening the scoring in the 33rd minute for his third goal in two games, before Rio Oudnie-Morgan doubled Town's lead three minutes later to send them into the break 2-0 up.
However, the Clarets pulled a goal back through Tommy McDermott just a minute after the restart, before Vernon Masara levelled the game three minutes later.
Town restored their lead through Harry Barbrook just before the hour mark but the hosts equalised again when Kamarni Ryan netted in the 71st minute to share the points.
John McGreal's side return to action when they host Sheffield United at Playford Road on Tuesday 27th August.
