Released Ipswich Town youngster Matt Ward has joined National League side Woking after impressing on trial.
The 21-year-old forward departed Portman Road this summer, having been at the club since joining from Wroxham in 2020.
Ward signed a professional contract at Town in the summer of 2021, where he went on to make one senior appearance for the Blues, coming on as a substitute in the FA Cup against Buxton in 2022.
A new number 17 on the 17th.

During his spell at Town, he was a regular for the under 21's side, while spending time on loan with Irish side Derry City and Braintree Town.
He now joins Michael Doyle's side, having being on trial with the Cards in pre-season and made his debut for the fifth tier side against Gateshead on Saturday.
