Ipswich Town Under-21s returned to winning ways as they beat Crewe Alexandra 3-0 at the Mornflake Stadium this afternoon.
The young Blues went into this game off the back of their first defeat of the season, where they were beaten 1-0 at home by Sheffield United last week.
Town opened the scoring in the 32nd minute when Tommy Taylor netted his third goal of the season as he continues his goal-scoring form from last season.
John McGreal's side double their lead just after the hour mark via Olly Davis, before Matty Roberts notched his fourth goal of the campaign in 72nd minute to secure all three points.
Ipswich have now won two of their opening four games in their Professional Development League campaign and return to action when they host to Hull City at Playford Road on Tuesday 10th September.
Town U21s: Gray, Babb, Mazionis, Ayoola, Jambang, Turner, Okunowo, Roberts, O Davis, Morgan, Taylor.
