Appearances: 1

The young midfielder has signed for Suffolk non-league side Leiston, having spent last season at Bishop's Stortford, where he suffered relegation from the National League North. 

TYREEQ BAKINSON

Town career: 2022 (on loan from Bristol City)

Appearances: 17 - Goals: 2

The midfielder has joined League One side Wycombe Wanderers following his departure from Sheffield Wednesday. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Charlton Athletic. 

TYRONE BARNETT

Town career: 2012 (on loan from Peterborough United)

Appearances: 3

The forward is still playing at the age of 38, joining Southern League Premier Division Central side Alverchurch after helping Leamington win promotion from that level last season.

LOUIE BARRY

Town career: 2021 (on loan from Aston Villa)

Appearances: 6

The 21-year-old has returned to Stockport County on loan for a second sucessive season after helping them win promotion to League One last season. He signed a contract extension at Villa Park this summer. 

ASMIR BEGOVIC

Town career: 2009 (on loan from Portsmouth)

Appearances: 6

The Bosnian keeper has returned to Everton on a one-year deal after spending last season at QPR where he was crucial in helping them stay in the Championship. 

TEDDY BISHOP

Town career: 2004-2022 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 132 - Goals: 5

The midfielder has joined League Two side Colchester United on a two-year-deal after he turned down a new deal at Lincoln City to become a free agent this summer. 

 

 

PANUTCHE CAMARA

Town career: 2022-2024

Appearances: 4 - Goals: 1

The midfielder returned to Crawley Town on an initial two-year deal, following his release from the Blues. He previously had three successful seasons with the Red Devils between 2017 to 2020. 

CHRIS CASEMENT

Town career: 2004-2009 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 14

The Northern Irish defender has joined his latest Suffolk non-league side, signing for Ipswich Wanderers after spending last season at Leiston. 

TOM CARROLL

Town career: 2021-2022

Appearances: 17

The midfielder has moved to MK Dons after turning down a contract offer at Exeter City. He joined the Grecians last summer after year out of the game following his release from the Blues at the end of the 2021/22 season. 

 

 

JOSH CARSON

Town career: 2009-2013 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 33 - Goals: 5

The Northern Irishman joined Ballymena United from Irish Premiership rivals Coleraine on a two-year deal after he was asked to be placed on the transfer list by the Bannsiders after negotiations over a new deal broke down.

CALLUM CONNOLLY

Town career: 2017-2018 (on loan from Everton)

Appearances: 35 - Goals: 4

The versatile 26-year-old has joined Stockport County on a two-year-deal after his contract expired at fellow League One side Blackpool.

ROSS CRANE

Town career: 2020-2022

Appearances: 2

The young attacker has signed for National League North side Kings Lynn Town after a spell at Leiston last season.

HAYDEN COULSON

Town career: 2021-2022 (on loan from Middlesbrough)

Appearances: 6

The wing-back has moved to Blackpool on a permanent move from Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Bloomfield Road.

TREVOH CHALOBAH

Town career: 2018-2019 (on loan from Chelsea)

Appearances: 44 - Goals: 2

The 25-year-old defender has joined Crystal Palace from fellow Premier League side Chelsea on a season season-long loan deal. He was given permission to leave the club after being left out of the club's pre-season tour of the United States.

FLYNN DOWNES

Town career: 2006-2021 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 99 - Goals: 3

The all-action midfielder has joined Southampton on a permanent move from West Ham in a £18m deal after helping the Saints secure promotion to the Premier League last season on loan. The Blues made an attempt to bring him back to Portman Road this summer.

ANDRE DOZZELL

Appearances: 93 - Goals: 3

The 25-year-old midfielder has joined Portsmouth following his release from QPR at the end of last season. He spent the last half of last season on loan at Birmingham City. 

JAY EMMANUEL-THOMAS

Town career: 2011-2013

Appearances: 75 - Goals: 9

The forward has returned to Scotland to join Championship side Greenock Morton on a six-month deal. He spent last season at National League side Kidderminster Harriers, joining them in February, but was unable to prevent them from relegation to the sixth tier. 

LEE EVANS

Town career: 2021-2014

Appearances: 61 - Goals: 6

The midfielder has joined Blackpool on a two-year deal following the end of his short-term deal at Portsmouth. He helped Pompey win the League One title, having left the Blues at the start of February after he had his contract terminated by mutual consent. 

 

 

ANTHONY GEORGIOU

Town career: 2019 (on loan from Tottenham Hotspur)

Appearances: 14 

The winger has returned to England to join Wealdstone following a successful trial at the National League side. He spent last season at Enosis Neon Paralimni in his native Cyprus and helped them win promotion back to the top flight. 

VACLAV HLADKY

Town career: 2021-2024

Appearances: 71

The Czech keeper has joined Championship side Burnley on a two-year deal, following his release from Portman Road after he was unable to agree new terms with the Blues.

KAYDEN JACKSON

Town career: 2018-2024

Appearances: 199 - Goals: 28

The forward departed the Blues this summer after his contract expired and has joined Championship side Derby County on a two-year deal.

 

 

MYLES KENLOCK

Town career: 2014-2022 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 103

The full-back has joined National League side Barnet on a three-year deal, having spent most of last season at fellow fifth tier side Ebbsfleet United, who offered him a new contract but he decided to move to the Hive instead.

DARRYL KNIGHTS

Town career: 1997-2007 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 1

The forward has joined Midland League Premier Division side Stourport Swifts. He ended last season as the manager of Stourbridge, who play in the Southern League Premier Division Central. 

JACK LANKESTER

Town career: 2005-2021 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 30 - Goals: 3

The 24-year-old attacker has joined League Two side Crewe Alexandra from Cambridge United for an undisclosed fee. He was put put on the transfer list by Garry Monk's side this summer, but has now penned a three-year deal with the Railwaymen.

 

 

BYRON LAWRENCE

Town career: 2010-2014 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 1 

The midfielder has moved to St Ives Town for the 2024/25 season after leaving Needham Market and spent time at Ipswich Wanderers last season as he continued his recovery from a horrific leg injury.

JACK MANLY

Town career: 2020-2004 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 1

The young midfielder was released by the Blues in the summer and has since joined Suffolk non-league side Leiston. He spent most of the last season on loan with Darren Eadie and Chris Wigger's side. 

LEE MARTIN

Town career: 2009-2013

Appearances: 105 - Goals: 6

The midfielder has joined Isthmian League South East Division side Ashford United after leaving fellow Kent side Ramsgate this summer. He featured 43 times for the Rams last season as they missed out on promotion in Step 4, but was an integral part of their FA Cup run which saw them reach the second round for the first time in their history. 

 

 

BRETT MCGAVIN

Town career: 2009-2022 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 11

The midfielder has joined newly-promoted National League side Yeovil Town on a two-year deal. He arrives at Huish Park following his release by Torquay United after two seasons with the Gulls.

MARK MCGUINNESS

Town career: 2020-2021 (on loan from Arsenal)

Appearances: 25 - Goals: 1

The defender has joined Luton Town from fellow Championship side Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee. The deal has been reported to eventually be worth £10m. 

DARREN MCQUEEN

Town career: 2014-2015

Appearances: 1

The forward has moved to newly promoted National League South side Hornchurch from fifth tier side Ebbsfleet United to end his second spell at the Kent side.

KIEFFER MOORE

Town career: 2017-2018 & 2024 (On loan from Bournemouth)

Appearances: 29 - Goals: 7

The forward has joined Sheffield United for an undisclosed fee from AFC Bournemouth. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Portman Road. 

TOTO NSIALA

Town career: 2018-2022

Appearances: 29 - Goals: 7

The defender has reunited with Paul Hurst at Shrewsbury Town after signing a two-year deal following his departure from fellow League One side Burton Albion. 

TROY PARROTT

Town career: 2021 (on loan from Spurs)

Appearances: 18 - Goals: 2

The Irish forward has left Tottenham Hotspur to join AZ Alkmaar for an undisclosed fee and has agreed a five-year contract with the Eredivisie side as part of a deal that was reported to be £6.7m (€8m). He spent last season at fellow Dutch side Excelsior Rotterdam but suffered relegation from the top flight.

 

 

JOE PIGOTT

Town career: 2021-2023

Appearances: 28 - Goals: 3

The forward has re-joined AFC Wimbledon on a season-long loan from League One side Leyton Orient. He was a big fan favourite in his first spell with the Dons, before moving to Ipswich in the summer of 2021. 

BRETT PITMAN

Town career: 2015-2017

Appearances: 70 - Goals: 15

The veteran forward has joined his Baffins Milton Rovers, following his departure from Shaftesbury. He bagged an incredible 61 goals last season as helped the Dorset-based side win promotion from the Wessex League Premier Division via the play-offs.

JORDAN RHODES 

Town career: 2005-2009 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 10 - Goals: 1

The forward has signed for League One side Blackpool on a permanent basis, having spent the 2023-24 season on loan with the club. He was released by Huddersfield Town this summer.

 

 

JEREMY SARMIENTO

Town career: 2024 (on loan from Brigton)

Appearances: 22 - Goals: 4

The Ecuador international has joined Burnley on a season-long loan deal from Brighton & Hove Albion. He was a big hit for the Blues last season but the clause for him to return to Portman Road was not triggered. 

DANE SCARLETT

Town career: 2023 (on loan from Spurs)

Appearances: 12

The forward has joined Oxford United from Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan. He spent the first half of last season with the Blues. 

FREDDIE SEARS

Town career: 2015-2021

Appearances: 217 - Goals: 34

The forward has joined seventh-tier side Chatham Town following his spell with Braintree Town. He joined the Iron following his release from Dagenham & Redbridge in March and helped them win promotion to the National League. 

 

 

TYREECE SIMPSON

Town career: 2018-2022 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 10 - Goals: 1

The 22-year-old forward has joined Stevenage from fellow League One side Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee. He spent last season on loan at Northampton Town in the third tier. 

MATT WARD

Town career: 2020-2024 (Academy graduate)

Appearances: 1

The young forward was released by the Blues in the summer and has since joined National League side Woking after impressing on trial. 

ANTHONY WORDSWORTH

Town career: 2013-2015

Appearances: 20 - Goals: 2

The midfielder has joined has signed for Essex non-league side Maldon & Tiptree as their player-coach, following his departure from Chelmsford City this summer. 

JOSH YORWERTH

Town career: 2015-2016

Appearances: 3 - Goals: 1

The Welsh defender has joined Barry Town United after spells with Penybont and Merthyr Town last season. He returned to football back in 2022 following his four-year ban for avoiding a drugs test.
