Ipswich Town U21s scored late on to draw 2-2 at Bristol City in the Professional Development League this afternoon.
John McGreal's side went into this game off the back of their 2-1 home defeat to Brentford last week, a loss which ended their four match unbeaten run.
The young Blues opened the scoring through Ash Boatswain, who netted his fourth goal of the season in the fifth minute which proved to be the only goal in the first half.
Both sides had chances, but it wasn't until the 68th minute that the Robins levelled as Olly Thomas delivered into the penalty area to Brandon Bak, who fired home.
The hosts took the lead in the 79th minute when substitute Kai Churchley received the ball on the edge of the area and fired home.
With the game going into the closing stages, Town found a 90th minute equaliser through Olly Davis, to wrestle a point from the fixture. The young Blues are yet to suffer a defeat on the road this season.
They return to action when they host AFC Bournemouth at Portman Road next Monday.
Town U21s: Gray, Babb, Lewis, O’Connor, Ayoola, Turner, Mendel, Okunowo, Boatswain, Roberts, Nwabueze.
